Lessons From My Ethics and Integrity Training at Work

This was a quote taken from my Ethics and Integrity training at work. The training highlights how we should have integrity, meaning we have a moral compass that does not waiver in any situation, big or small.

It also tells us to have courage, which they describe as openly questioning actions that are inconsistent with our values, even when it is not popular.

Finally, the training encourages us to not be a bystander, but to take action in the moment to do what is right and speak up.

As a good steward of my firm’s money spent on ethics and integrity training, I would like to openly speak out against vaccine mandates and the coercion taking place to force perfectly healthy employees to inject themselves with a substance for which the long term effects are unknown and the efficacy of which is in question – especially for an employee population who’s risk of death from the disease is extremely low, and for which other treatments are available (albeit not as profitable).

I am speaking out against the discrimination of those who are exercising their rights to make personal medical decisions, by firing them, not hiring them, or forcing them to undergo indefinite testing and/or refusing to allow them into certain office spaces or events. This is especially absurd given the vaccinated population is able to contract and spread the disease in the same manner.

The first part of the Nuremberg Code of 1947 states; “The voluntary consent of the human subject is absolutely essential. This means that the person involved should have legal capacity to give consent; should be so situated as to be able to exercise free power of choice, without the intervention of any element of force, fraud, deceit, duress, overreaching, or other ulterior form of constraint or coercion; and should have sufficient knowledge and comprehension of the elements of the subject matter involved as to enable him to make an understanding and enlightened decision.”

These coercive tactics are wrong, yet we continue to allow this prospect to be lorded over employees, increasing anxieties and pressuring people into making a decision they do not want to make in order to provide for their families or, in some cases around the world, just leave their homes.

Media and government driven fear and false labeling is driving hatred for the unvaccinated, and I can tell you that it will not end well if we do not recognize what is happening. Fear drives irrational behaviors and history already tells us how this will end if we do not put a stop to it.

I have sent several emails within my own firm calling these things to light and have also filed formal complaints on the ethics and compliance website.

I encourage other corporate employees across the world to do the same.
